Membership Policy

Florida Homeschool Connection Family Membership is valid for one school year, from August 1 through July 31, and covers all children and parents residing in the same household. It does not auto-renew.

Membership benefits apply only to the registered household and may not be transferred, shared, sold, or assigned to another family.

Membership fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Membership grants access to member benefits, including eligibility to register for classes and participation in included community events. Class tuition, field trip admission fees, and other designated program costs are not included unless specifically stated.

Florida Homeschool Connection reserves the right to modify, add, or discontinue events, classes, locations, schedules, and membership benefits as needed throughout the year.

Failure to follow Florida Homeschool Connection's Code of Conduct may result in suspension or termination of membership without refund.

By purchasing a membership, families acknowledge that they have read and agree to all policies, procedures, and participation requirements of Florida Homeschool Connection.

At Florida Homeschool Connection, we are committed to creating a welcoming, safe, and respectful environment where students and families can learn, connect, and build meaningful community together.

Expectations for Students

Students are expected to:

• Treat instructors, volunteers, fellow students, and community members with kindness and respect.

• Follow directions provided by instructors, event leaders, and staff.

• Use appropriate language and behavior during classes, events, and field trips.

• Respect facilities, equipment, supplies, and the property of others.

• Participate in a way that contributes positively to the learning environment.

• Remain with their assigned group, class, or activity unless given permission otherwise.

Students whose behavior is disruptive, unsafe, or repeatedly disrespectful may be removed from an activity, and parents may be contacted for immediate pick-up.

Expectations for Parents & Guardians

Parents and guardians are expected to:

• Treat all students, families, instructors, volunteers, and staff with kindness and respect.

• Support a positive, welcoming, and inclusive community atmosphere.

• Ensure children arrive prepared and are picked up on time when attending drop-off programs.

• Provide accurate emergency contact, medical, and enrollment information.

• Communicate concerns directly and respectfully with Florida Homeschool Connection leadership.

• Follow all event, facility, and field trip guidelines.

Parents are responsible for the behavior of their children during family-attended activities and events.

Community Standards

We believe community is built through cooperation, encouragement, and mutual respect.

Bullying, harassment, discrimination, threatening behavior, physical aggression, vandalism, or conduct that compromises the safety or well-being of others will not be tolerated.

Florida Homeschool Connection reserves the right to remove participants from individual activities or terminate participation privileges when necessary to maintain a safe and positive environment for all families.

By participating in Florida Homeschool Connection programs, classes, clubs, and events, families agree to uphold these expectations and contribute positively to our community.
